Process:
I began by assessing the client’s communication needs, network capacity, and existing infrastructure. Based on the analysis, I designed an optimized VoIP architecture, selected suitable IP phones and PBX solutions, and configured SIP trunks, extensions, call flows, and IVR menus. After installation, I performed thorough testing of call quality, routing, voicemail, and failover mechanisms. Finally, I trained the client’s staff and provided documentation for daily operations and troubleshooting.
Artifacts Created:
VoIP Network Diagram: Showing PBX, IP phones, gateways, and SIP trunk routes.
Extension & Call Flow Mapping: Detailed structure of call routing, IVR menus, and ring groups.
Configuration Documentation: PBX settings, SIP credentials, QoS rules, and firewall configurations.
User Guides: Step-by-step instructions for staff on using IP phones, voicemail, and call features.
